“KORCA 2000” Sh.p.k  was founded in 2000 in the city of Korça. With an 18 year experience, it provides only fine quality products to its customers. The company has continually invested in new technologies according to European standards. In 2009, it was issued the HACCP, ISO 22000:2005 food safety certificate.The canteen has multiple year rent contracts for 10 ha vineyards with local farmers. The grape varieties processed by the canteen are: Cabernet, Mavrud, Shesh i Zi, Merlot, Riesling and the local varities of the Korça region: Black Serina, White Serina and Perla.Serine (white serina) – The greatest part of the Serina vineyards are located in the eastern prt of Korça. The annual wine production is 400 hl. By also processing some types of fruit raki (pear, apple, quince, etc.), the annual production of raki is 100 hl. Another important recent investment by the company in the production of raki, has been the copper stills distillery. Copper stills are all about the taste – the most important thing to give you the recognizable aromas of our raki.
